Polis Instructions and Moderation Policy

In the Polis window you can:

• Vote on other people’s statements in the top pane by clicking agree, disagree or pass/unsure
• Submit your own statement for other people to vote on in the small pane below the voting pane. 
• Explore opinions by clicking on the buttons beneath the opinion groups in the pane below the statement submission pane.

Come back regularly to vote on new statements, explore opinion as it evolves and add your own statements.

Share the link to this Polis with others so they can share their perspectives.

Statements will be moderated into the Polis if they are on topic, clear and concise, and not offensive. Statements should be distinctly different to, not duplicates of, other statements, and be issue-focused. 

Participation is anonymous and you must not name or identify people in statements. Polis will give you the option of submitting an email address for notifications when there are new statements to vote on. These are not accessible to the organisers. 

You can use English and other languages. Polis detects the default language used by your browser and can translate a statement if Google Translate has that language.
